9/22 – Volunteer Hospice Survivors’ Workshop, 1:30 pm here at TUMC. Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County presents four sessions, June through September on practical aspects of living alone. In September the final program is Self-Care presented by Debby Smith and Rev. Maggie Bourne-Raiswell. These programs are free to the public and you may attend the last workshop even if you haven’t attended the others. Register with VHOCC at 360-452-1511.

9/29 – Community Dinner, 6 pm here at TUMC. Everyone is welcome! Please call the church office for reservations,  683-5367, between 9 and 2 Monday through Wednesday, September 26, 27, or 28, or email your reservation to dinners@sequimtumc.org

10/11 through 11/15 – Powerful Tools for Caregivers, 9 am. One of the greatest challenges of being a family caregiver is maintaining one’s own physical and emotional health.  This class is designed to help a caregiver reduce personal stress; communicate feelings and needs; use community services; deal with emotions such as anger, guilt, and depression; and make tough care-giving decisions.  This six-week class will be offered again at TUMC on Tuesdays, 9:00 to 11:30 a.m., beginning October 11 and ending November 15.  The fee is $30 which covers the cost of the book. If interested in attending, please register for the class by October 4 by calling Judy Croonquist 582-1370 or Barb Parse 683-2113.

10/12 – Working on Wellness Forum, 2:30 pm here at TUMC. The program is “Open Enrollment Tips to Save You Time & Money” presented by Phil Castell, Castell Insurance.  Working on Wellness is a program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic. (Sequim’s Free Clinic)

11/3Blood Drive, 12 to 6 pm (closed 3:45 to 4:30 pm). If you have questions or wish to make an appointment, please call: 1-800-398-7888. Walk-ins are also welcome. Photo ID required to donate.

11/12 – Christmas Lane Fair, 9 am to 3 pm. Join us for our annual holiday event which includes local crafters, bake-goods table, and our Holly Daze Cafe serving chili, soup and pie.
