12/3, 10, 17 & 24 – Advent – A Victorian Christmas, 10 am – Join us in December for worship as we experience a “Life Redeemed.” The story of Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey from a bitter miser to a joyous giver is also the story of Christmas. We who walked in great darkness have seen a great light and in that light we find hope and new life. To get us in the mood for this tale we will be traveling back to Victorian England with carolers, a town crier and lamplighter along with festive decorations and some special treats. You are encouraged to come dressed in period costumes as well.
12/24 – Christmas Eve Service, 6 pm. Plan to attend this very special Victorian Christmas Service on December 24th at 6 pm. The music team and choirs (including the Trinity Singers, bell choir, and Carlos Xavier on flute) are preparing special music for us to enjoy. The Town Crier will welcome us, carolers will serenade us as we hear the Good News of Jesus’ birth. We will sing some beloved carols of the season and end the service by lighting individual candles and singing Silent Night. There will be a “treat bag” and an LED candle for our youngest guests. Everyone is invited to join us!
12/30 – Messiah Sing-Along, 1 pm. The 18th annual Messiah Sing-Along will be held here at Trinity United Methodist Church. Dr. Jerome Wright will be the Director/Conductor, and there will be instrumentalists, soloists, and an accompanist. Everyone is welcome to join the chorus! Or just come, listen and enjoy the music. Financial contributions are welcome and will be donated to the Sequim and Port Angeles food banks and St. Vincent DePaul.
