9/9 – Free Clinic Fun Walk, 8:30 registration, walk begins here at TUMC at 9 am. Walkers may do a non-competitive 1-mile or 5-mile walk (or any amount you choose). There will be music, refreshments, prizes and free health screenings. Contact Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic, 582-0218, for more information.
9/12 – Powerful Tools for Caregivers, 9 am, is designed to help a caregiver reduce personal stress; communicate feelings and needs; use community services; deal with emotions such as anger, guilt, and depression; and make tough care-giving decisions. This six-week class will be offered at TUMC on Tuesdays, 9:00 to 11:30 a.m., beginning September 12 and ending October 17. The fee is $30 which covers the cost of the book. 9/13 – Wellness Forum, 2:30 pm here at TUMC. The program is “Elder Law: Simple Steps Towards Peace of Mind” presented by D. Michael Hatch, Attorney at Law. Working on Wellness is a program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic. (Sequim’s Free Clinic)
