1/19 – Survivors’ 4-week Workshop – 3:30 pm - A Practical Guide to Living Alone, presented by Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County, Mondays January 5, 12, 19, and 26, 3:30 to 5:30 pm. The classes include Financial Management on January 5, Home Maintenance on January 12, Self-Care on January 19 and Cooking for One on January 26. Space is limited. To register, call the Hospice office at 360-452-1511.

1/27 – Powerful Tools for Caregivers, 9:00 to 11:30 am  One of the greatest challenges of being a family caregiver is maintaining one’s own physical and emotional health. The PTFC class is designed to help a caregiver reduce stress; communicate feelings and needs; use community services; deal with emotions such as anger, guilt, and depression; and to make tough caregiving decisions. This 6-week class will be on Tuesdays, beginning January 27 and ending March 3. Book fee is $25. To register for the class, call Judy Croonquist at 582-1370 or Barb Parse, 683-2113.

1/29 – Community Dinner, 5 pm. Everyone is welcome! Please call the church office for reservations,  683-5367, between 9 and 2 Monday through Wednesday, January 26, 27, 28, or email your reservation to dinners@sequimtumc.org

2/11 – WOW! Working on Wellness, Free Community Lecture, 2:30 pm here at TUMC.  The Program is “The Healthy Heart” Presented by Dr. Alexander Pan, OMC Cardiologist.  “Working on Wellness” is a program of the Dungeness Valley Health &  Wellness Clinic.

2/18 – Ash Wednesday, noon lunch with worship service at 1 pm. The service will last approximately an hour and end with the Imposition of Ashes. This service is a powerful way to begin our Lenten Journey.

3/12 – Blood Drive, noon to 6 pm (closed 3:45 to 4:30 pm). If you have questions or wish to make an appointment, please call: 1-800-398-7888. Walk-ins are also welcome. Photo ID required to donate. The need never stops…please donate blood.
