Music at Trinity
Who are we?
One of our congregation’s music ministries, The Trinity Singers is the adult choir which sings at Sunday morning worship.
What is our purpose?
Our purpose is connecting people to each other and to God through the gift of music.
What do we sing?
Our repertoire represents the entire spectrum of musical styles with music chosen to reinforce the pastor’s message. We recognize the value of both traditional and contemporary music. We provide a venue for new composers’ works to be heard.
Membership in the choir is open to anyone of any vocal skill level and experience. We believe members should have a high level of commitment because we have consistent musical leadership. We welcome singers to practice for seasonal programs as well as become long-term choir members.
Choir rehearsal starts the first week of September and continues until June. We rehearse every Wednesday at 4:30 – 5:30 PM.
The Bell Choir, directed by Sue Ninemires, provides an opportunity for people to serve God through making music by ringing hand bells and hand chimes. Rehearsals are every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.
Praising Hands Choir is directed by Rae Walz. Choir members learn, discuss, and communicate theological concepts through signing hymns in the worship service.
Our music is also enhanced with bass guitarist and vocal soloist Lee Harwell and flautist extraordinaire Carlos Xavier.
