Sign up for In-Church Holy Week/Easter Worship Services
by calling TUMC, 360-683-5367 by next Tuesday, March 30:
- Maundy Thursday, April 1, 5 pm • Good Friday, April 2, 5 pm
- Easter Sunday, April 4, 9 am or 11 am
We are asking that only those who consider Trinity their church home (attended TUMC pre-COVID) make reservations, and attend the live services. The COVID safety guidelines will be followed: wear masks, social distancing, and have both your COVID shots by March 18. A copy of your vaccination is required to be on file at TUMC. Since space is somewhat limited we are unable to completely open to the public. We hope that our services will be filled to the maximum allowable attendance. Spaces are still available.
You can also view this week’s service, the Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter worship services on YouTube.
Just go to our webpage sequimtumc.org for a link to the service or to YouTube, where you then type in Sequim Trinity United Methodist Church in the search bar.
We thank you for your continued support of our ministries here at Trinity and ask that you mail your contributions to the church. Be sure to use our P.O. Box 3697 instead of our street address.
Reminders:
Please do not call or e-mail Pastor Brad or Dorothy during this time as he needs to rest. If you wish to send a card, please mail it to his home address. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the church office.
Radical hospitality…
Is how we show our Christian love. Jesus tells us, “Feed my sheep” (John 21:17). Pastor Brad requests that people who want to help do so by offering radical hospitality. Since Pastor Brad cannot walk the line of cars offering coffee to people waiting for their vaccination and to the volunteers staffing the vaccination clinic, he would love to have others perform this act of hospitality. If you would like to help, contact Jan Kreidler at janet2.kreidler@gmail.com.
Plant Sale:
Spring arrives this month and our annual plant sale on Saturday, May 8 will be here soon! A few things you can do to get your plants ready to donate are dig, divide and pot your outdoor and indoor plants for the sale. For more information, contact Barbara Parse, 360-683-2113, bparse@wavecable.com
UMCOR Sunday (formerly One Great Hour of Sharing) – March 28th:
Together we can reach children, families, and communities who have experienced devastation in the wake of disaster.
When disaster strikes around the globe—earthquakes, hurricanes, major floods, wildfires, etc.—so many of us feel helpless. How can one person make a difference in the wake of such widespread devastation? As responders around the globe scramble to help survivors, the United Methodist Committee on Relief, (UMCOR) is prepared to act. Together we can ensure that the United Methodist Church can continue to help by donating to UMCOR Sunday.
Our gifts to the UMCOR Sunday offering help cover operating expenses of UMCOR, allowing 100% of our designated donations to get to those who need help the most. For more information about UMCOR, go to: www.umcor.org.
Easter Drive through Dessert has been canceled:
Because timing does not seem right and interest in the Easter Dessert has been low, the decision has been made to cancel the event. Those who made an RSVP will be contacted directly, via email, or telephone. Thank you for understanding.
Save the Date for a Bible Study:

In this four-week Bible study, we’ll explore the life of Naomi as told in the Book of Ruth. We will learn to flourish as we live out our hard stories and trust that God can transform them. We’ll trade our heartache for delight as we discover a God who rescues and redeems. Peninsula Singers Virtual Cabaret is still up for viewing
— is still up for viewing. Because of COVID-19, the choir cannot meet to sing or perform, and we need some basic donations in order to keep alive until the restrictions are lifted, and people are allowed to sing and perform again, as well as award some scholarships. The show is hosted by Jerry Wright and runs for just under 45 minutes. It is very good, and can be accessed from the Peninsula Singers website: peninsulasingers.org or on Facebook: Peninsula Singers | Facebook. Donations by mail can be sent to: Peninsula Singers, 325 E. Washington Street # 135, Sequim, WA 98382. God bless you for helping us weather the Covid storm!
Office Hours
Trinity United Methodist Church office hours are 9 am-2 pm Monday through Friday. However, due to limited access to the building during this phase of opening, we are keeping the doors locked. There is a doorbell to the right of the main door (by the office) that you need to ring to alert the office and you will be let in. It is best to call ahead so we are aware that you are coming. Thanks so much for your patience and remember when in the building to be sure and wear your mask!
