Sunday In-Person Services
Sunday services are now being held in the church at 10 am. As of this notice, we are still limited to 25 people in the Sanctuary, and 25 in the fellowship hall. If interested in attending, please call the office next week, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, to make a reservation. (Be sure you have had your two shots, plus two weeks, and that there is/will be a copy of your vaccination card on file at the church office. The Covid safety guidelines will be followed: wear masks, take temperatures, and social distancing.)
Fellowship Hall Worship:
Does the thought of worshiping in the Fellowship Hall kind of turn you off? It did me, but I want to tell you, it is a good experience. It was great to be among people I hadn’t seen in a long time, and there was a warm feeling generated by worshiping with others. Watching the service “semi-live” at 10 am felt better to me than watching it alone on my computer at home at “any old time.” If you can’t get a Sanctuary reservation, give the Fellowship Hall a try!

OnLine Video-Taped Services
The Sunday service is now being filmed and available online the next day, Monday. If you regularly watch the service on Sunday, that may leave you wondering, “What do I watch this Sunday?” This could be your opportunity to view a service you might have missed. (Go to YouTube, and enter Sequim Trinity United Methodist Church. There you can take your pick of services!) On the following Sunday, you can view this Sunday’s service and regularly watch the services a week later.
Men’s Bible Study to Begin Again

Native American Ministries Sunday offering – April 18
This offering helps to develop and strengthen Native American ministries in the Annual Conferences, Native American rural, urban, reservation ministries, and communities relating to the General Board of Global Ministries. It also provides scholarships for Native Americans attending United Methodist schools of theology. Please prayerfully consider how you might support this ministry.
New altar and pulpit
For those who have been unable to attend, we now have a new altar and pulpit, pictured above. These were in place for the first time on Easter Sunday. We extend a heartfelt thank you to Andy Pitts, a TUMC member, who designed and built these beautiful pieces.
Plant Sale Volunteer Meeting:

Let’s give Trinity some TLC!
Come on out to Trinity TLC where we do light maintenance around the Church while sharing in fellowship. We meet every two weeks and this week we meet on Friday, April 16 at 9:30 AM for a couple of hours. We will be cutting grass, doing light maintenance and some springtime sprinkler work, washing windows, and of course having a cup of Rainshadow Dungeness Dark coffee and light eats, courtesy of Dick Bennett. Recycle Empty Inkjet and Laser Printer Cartridges:
The recycle container for empty inkjet and laser printer cartridges and used cell phones is now in the church office. Besides helping the environment by recycling, the church is paid for every item donated. Thanks so much for your continued (or new) participation in this program!
Update on Sequim Food Bank Distribution:
The upcoming food distribution dates through June are: April 28th, May 26th, and June 23rd. Hours for the volunteers are 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you would like to help with the food distributions, contact Jan Kreidler (360-681-5027 or janet2.kreidler@gmail.com).
Access to the Church during Vaccination Hours:
It is best to use Brown Ave instead of Blake – Take Brown to Spruce and then follow the directions of the Flagger at the North Entryway to the Church (same roadway that heads to the Pickleball Courts and Dog Park). Turn at the Green Dumpster and park behind the Church or on the side, this will help ease the traffic along Blake Avenue. This is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays – 8 am to 1 pm.

Please note that as TUMC opens for on-site worship it will be a requirement to have your two vaccinations and be past the two weeks following your second vaccination.

Registration will be in one-hour time blocks between 8 am and 1 p.m. each day. Once online registration is complete, a ticket with the date and time should be printed and brought with you. Each person/couple in a vehicle must have a registration ticket. This is a drive-through process. People stay in their cars. Check-in is here at TUMC in the parking lot. After completing the paperwork, people are directed to Carrie Blake Park where they will receive their vaccination. Office Hours
Trinity United Methodist Church office hours are 9 am-2 pm Monday through Friday. However, due to limited access to the building during this phase of opening, we are keeping the doors locked. There is a doorbell to the right of the main door (by the office) that you need to ring to alert the office and you will be let in. It is best to call ahead so we are aware that you are coming. Thanks so much for your patience and remember when in the building to be sure and wear your mask!
