Let’s give Trinity some TLC! This Morning!

Come on out to Trinity TLC where we do light maintenance around the Church while sharing in fellowship. We meet every two weeks, and our next meeting is Friday, April 30, at 9:30 am for a couple of hours. We will be cutting grass, doing light maintenance and upkeep, some springtime work, and of course, having a cup of Rainshadow Dungeness Dark coffee and light eats, courtesy of Dick Bennett. All are welcome! For more info, call Andy Pitts at 804-724-3401.

Noisy Can Offering: Sunday, May 30, 2012

This year the months of January, May, August, and October have five Sundays. Trinity UMC takes a Noisy Can Offering on each of the 5th Sundays, with a different recipient chosen by our Missions Ministry Team for each of the NCOs.

Funds for the May 30th Noisy Can Offering will be donated for back-to-school supplies. Yes, it seems a bit early to be collecting funds for back-to-school supplies in May, but we wish to have the funds on hand when they are needed. (The August 29 NCO will be just past the dates needed for school supplies.) Because of the pandemic, we are requesting donations in cash or checks – NO COINS. If you choose to donate funds with a check, please write “May NCO” in the memo section. If donating cash, please enclose funds in an envelope that is labeled “May NCO”. As always, any amounts are greatly appreciated!

Bible Study

Renewed: Finding Hope When You Don’t Like Your Story, by Heather M. Dixon. This class meets Tuesdays from 1:00-2:30 p.m. for 4 weeks on June 1, 8, 15, and 22, 2021.
In this four-week Bible study, we’ll explore the life of Naomi as told in the Book of Ruth. We will learn to flourish as we live out our hard stories and trust that God can transform them. We’ll trade our heartache for delight as we discover a God who rescues and redeems. For more information and to sign up for this class, contact Kathleen Charters by emailing kcharters@mac.com or calling 240-463-7598.

TUMC Plant Sale Thanks!

Thank you for your participation – those who volunteered and those who bought plants. We took in over $700!

Update on Sequim Food Bank Distribution

Do you know someone who needs food and doesn’t have a car to drive through this drive-through distribution program? You may pick up food boxes for them. Hours to pick up food are 11:00-2:00. The upcoming food distribution dates through June are: May 26th and June 23rd. Hours for the volunteers are 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you would like to help with the food distributions, contact Jan Kreidler (360-681-5027 or janet2.kreidler@gmail.com).

Office Hours

Trinity United Methodist Church office hours are 9 am-2 pm Monday through Friday. However, due to limited access to the building during this phase of opening, we are keeping the doors locked. There is a doorbell to the right of the main door (by the office) that you need to ring to alert the office and you will be let in. It is best to call ahead so we are aware that you are coming. Thanks so much for your patience and remember when in the building to be sure and wear your mask!
