Ukrainian refugee relief packages

Trinity United Methodist Church, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, and Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church have been collecting items for Bathroom Kits and Cleaning Kits for Ukrainian refugees for the last few months.

Each church has hosted an assembly / packing day.  Friday, August 26th, was the day to transport all kits to St. Luke’s where volunteers from each church helped load the 121 kits into a large truck for delivery to Lutheran Community Services in Tacoma.

There were many blessings in this journey!  We thank everyone (from the churches and local communities) who supported this project by donating funds and / or items for the kits, assembling and packing kits, transporting kits to St. Luke’s and loading the big truck.  Many thanks, also, to the driver of the Big Red Truck, for delivering the kits to Tacoma!
