At Trinity United Methodist Church, worship is the heart of our life together.
We celebrate worship on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. Music plays an important part in our services with piano, organ, impressive choir, and guest musicians. Communion is celebrated every Sunday in the pews, with it being served at the altar on the first Sunday of the month. Many volunteers help to create this worship experience, both behind the scenes and as participants in the service.
An active Worship Ministry Team supports the pastor and the music leaders in designing, conducting, and evaluating the worship experience. The team coordinates communion, recruits and trains liturgists, and maintains the worship space decor, in addition to many other related tasks.
Services are aided by assistive listening technology.
Welcome • Grow • Empower • Serve
Welcome: We welcome all people who will experience our openness and warmth, as we continue to develop more extensively, and aspire to, the concept of radical hospitality.
Grow: We provide sermons, Bible studies, book studies, small groups, and support, to help people in their seeking and spiritual growth.
Empower: We empower with inspiring music and beauty, encouragement, and education. We equip people with the knowledge and confidence to fulfill their roles.
Serve: We determine needs and ways to serve our members, community, and world through ministries and missions.
Our History
Our church was established in 1889 and moved into Sequim in 1895. More recently, in January 2021, Trinity gained worldwide attention by hosting one of the first community mass vaccination clinics, in partnership with other community agencies. Click here to read more about our history
