History of Christianity
Six 1-hour videodiscs prepared by Diamaid MacColloch on the “History of Christianity” will be presented at 1:00 to 2:30 PM in the TUMC sanctuary on the big screens. Steve Downer will moderate six sessions on February 3, 10, 17, 24 and March 3 and 10.
Jim Davis (360-461-0101) is managing the presentation. Topics include:
- The First Christianity;
- Catholicism: The Unpredictable Rise of Rome;
- Orthodoxy: From Empire to Empire;
- Reformation: The Individual Before God;
- Protestantism: The Evangelical Explosion;
- God in the Dock.

Relax and renew yourself in Christ!
This will be a small group study and practice based on the book: “Right Here Right Now: The Practice of Christian Mindfulness,” by Amy G. Oden.
Begins 2/17/22 at noon on Zoom. We meet for 6 weeks for 60 to 90 minutes depending on group needs. A limited number of books will be available in the church office. You may also retake this class.

Trinity U Starts on March 6!
Come and learn Methodism, whether you are new to the church, want a refresher or just love to discuss and hear about it! Topics include the Methodist “family tree,” John Wesley, hymns by Charles Wesley, and Methodist Polity. Instructor Pastor will be Joey Olson for four Sundays starting March 20, at church, 11:15 AM. Painting the Stars: Science and faith provide two great stories that impact and enlighten our spiritual journey. In this course we examine the story of the universe, from the Big Bang to this very moment, and the sacred witness of scripture, through which inspired believers reveal the nature of God.
